Gespasa GK-7Plus firmware locks additive dosing to fuel volume

Additive dispenser uses GK-7Plus console firmware to tie the dose to fuel volume and log every injection

Dosing additive into fuel tanks by hand leaves room for miscalculation and for quantities that nobody can verify afterwards. Gespasa tackled both problems in an additive dispenser that calculates the dose itself and records each injection.

Dose set by the controller, not the operator

The requirement was equipment that injects additive into fuel tanks while keeping full traceability. Gespasa based the solution on its GK-7Plus console, fitted with dedicated firmware for the additive injection function. The operator enters the volume of fuel concerned, and the console determines the corresponding additive percentage.

The operator has no means of changing the additive quantity. Taking that decision out of the operator’s hands is intended to reduce both deliberate manipulation and simple calculation errors, two common sources of over- or under-dosing in manual practice.

Traceability in the cloud

Every injection is registered in cloud software. The record holds when the injection took place, the total quantity injected and which operator carried it out. That gives the fuel owner an auditable dosing history without paper logs.

Gespasa’s project description does not give flow rates, dosing accuracy or details of the metering hardware, so the application is best read as an example of how a fuel management controller can be repurposed, through firmware, as a ratio-dosing controller with built-in data logging.
