Electronic Pressure Switches

Electronic pressure switches guarantee precise operation even under demanding conditions such as vibration, electromagnetic interference, shock, or temperature fluctuations. Compared to mechanical pressure switches, our electronic variants are suitable for demanding applications.

Electronic pressure switches

An electronic pressure switch uses an electronic pressure sensor, also known as a pressure transmitter, and derives its functionality from it. With integrated electronic switches that serve to open or close the electrical circuit, this pressure switch performs simple control tasks. Setting the switching and reset point can be done individually and easily on the instrument itself.

Several variants of electronic pressure switches exist. In the standard configuration, these switches provide simple binary signals, such as "switch point reached" or "not reached." However, to more clearly show the distance to the switching or reset point, many pressure switches are equipped with a display and an analog output signal. The display shows the measured pressure or offers the possibility to check set parameters. In addition, the pressure value can be transmitted to a control unit via the analog output signal. This variant of the electronic pressure switch acts as a comprehensive 3-in-1 instrument: an electronic switch, a pressure sensor (pressure transmitter) and a digital indicator, all integrated into one device.
