Description

The Mobeye WaterGuard (CM4300) is a reliable water detector that informs set contacts via telephone in case of water leakage. As soon as the pins of the leak sensor sense a water-based liquid, a notification is sent via push message/sms/call/email. The device can operate for long periods of time on battery power. An external power supply (12-24V DC or adapter) can also be connected. The WaterGuard then also works as a power failure monitor.

The Mobeye WaterGuard helps to prevent water damage by timely alarms. In addition to the water sensor, two NO/NC inputs can monitor additional sensors, such as a water float sensor or relay contact. Applications include monitoring water in water tanks, in basements, in drainage systems, for boats, archives, in commercial and industrial buildings, data centers, vacation homes, museums, art collections and warehouses.

A Mobeye (M2M) sim card is included for communication. This inexpensive "multi-provider" sim card provides the connection to the 4G LTE-M network (with 2G as fallback). The 4G LTE-M network is very reliable; has good coverage in buildings and remote locations and is energy efficient. The SIM card also gives access to the Mobeye Internet Portal and push-app for optimal ease of use, security and online programming. The Mobeye CM4300 sim card to be activated online costs 4,00 EUR per month (excl. VAT, flat fee).

Optionally, a proprietary (micro) SIM card can be used. The device then works (only) with 2G and without portal/app. Alarm notifications go via SMS and phone call to (max.) 5 phone numbers. Programming is done via (simple) SMS commands.
