Calibratable resistance thermometer THERMASGARD~ RPTM2 with eight switchable measuring ranges and analog output. Optionally available with or without display, for showing the measured temperature. Plastic housing with quick-release screws. The sensor was specially developed as a black bulb sensor for measurement in larger rooms and halls. Due to the measuring method used and through correct positioning in the room, a representative temperature display is achieved. The THERMASGARD~ RPTM2 (globethermometer) determines the effective working radiant part or the effective radiant heat at the measurement point. Taking into account the radiant heat and the thermal comfort (wind chill), the global temperature is determined. The sensation temperature is an interplay of thermal radiation and thermal convection (the global temperature relates to the air temperature approx. 70 % to 30 %). The sensor is factory-tuned. Adjustment or fine tuning by the user is possible (range and zero point are adjustable).
