DUT-E GSM is a 2-in-1 device: fuel level sensor and GPS tracker in one housing. It enables fuel level measurement and GPS positioning of trucks and other road or off-road vehicles. The sensor is also used for fuel monitoring of diesel generators and stationary reservoirs/tanks. Fuel tank monitoring based on DUT-E GSM is implemented faster than a regular telematics system - only one device is installed. Configuration of the DUT-E GSM fuel sensor is possible via the Internet.
Data on fuel level, fuel volume, GPS coordinates and other operational parameters of machines are sent to the online telematics server or directly to a user (e-mail, SMS) via the GSM network.
DUT-E GSM automatically detects and alerts the fleet operator to fill and drain fuel tanks. Because DUT-E GSM is an online fuel level sensor, it is a good solution for fuel-related IoT projects such as smart building, smart factory, etc.
Built-in GPS receiver and GSM modem
DUT-E GSM enables measurement of fuel tank volume and real-time tracking of satellite positions via GPS and GLONASS. Data is transmitted to the Internet via mobile GSM network. DUT-E GSM - out-of-the-box hardware solution for fuel monitoring and vehicle location tracking.
Remote configuration via the Internet
DUT-E GSM settings can be changed locally during fuel level sensor installation or remotely via the Internet. The technical support specialist can change the settings from the office, without any physical contact with the sensor and without asking the fleet manager to stop the vehicle, where the sensor is installed.
Recognize events and send ready-made reports
DUT-E GSM generates up to 20 different ready-to-use analytical reports, with fuel volume data, vehicle location, speed, direction of movement, etc. Regular reports are generated (from 1 second to 24 hours) or after event recognition. Event is a situation where the operating parameter changes, e.g. engine start/stop, tank refill, fuel theft from tank, speeding, etc.
Operation without a server
DUT-E GSM can operate without a telematics server, as reports are sent directly to the user via SMS and e-mail. This feature is especially useful for owners of stationary machines, who do not need GPS position, but do need wireless transmission of fuel data.
