Pressure transmitter SPT with 1 ... 5 mA output

The rugged pressure transmitters SPT series are ideal for measuring absolute and positive pressures in non-crystallizing liquids, gases and vapors. The wide range of applications includes hydraulics, mobile hydraulics, pneumatics, refrigeration technology, medical technology, gas technology, energy and process engineering, and mechanical engineering automation in which pressure measurement technology is recorded and evaluated as a process variable. The SPT contains only a few active components, such as a piezoresistive poly-silicon thin-film measuring cell, a signal-processing ASIC and a U/I or U/U converter. Calibration is performed electronically, which means that the pressure transducers have a small overall error and are stable for long periods of time. The hermetically welded and fully vacuum-sealed stainless steel thin-film measuring cell ensures high density and long-term stability. The ASIC is a programmable precision CMOS ASIC with EEPROM data storage and analog signal path, which is qualified for an extended operating temperature range.
